Tsarine’s cuvée Blanc de Blancs, created by Isabelle Tellier, Chef de Cave, has already been awarded two distinctions in 2022, in France and internationally.
For Tsarine Blanc de Blancs, Isabelle Tellier chose from among the best grand cru Chardonnay wines from the famous Côte des Blancs south of Épernay. Its beautiful black bottle protects the organoleptic qualities of this refined and elegant champagne.
Gold Medal in the 2022 Mundus Vini competition
The Mundus Vini International Wine Award celebrated its thirtieth anniversary this year. The competition tested more than ten thousand wines from 42 countries, evaluated on the basis of international criteria set by the OIV (International Organisation of Vine and Wine).
Tsarine Blanc de Blancs received a Gold Medal at the spring tasting, held in February in Germany, with a score of 91/100.
Tsarine Blanc de Blancs in the 2023 Guide Véron
After Tsarine Rosé last year, the House of Chanoine Frères was pleased to see Tsarine Blanc de Blancs selected and commented on this year in the 2023 edition of the Guide Véron des Champagnes.
Michel Véron, oenologist and professor of oenology at the Lycée Viticole de la Champagne, makes a fully independent selection of wines he finds remarkable. His Guide Véron, which began appearing in 2011, has an approach all its own — instead of scores and medals, it focuses on detailed analytic comments.
