Three champagnes of character
Isabelle Tellier, Chef de Cave of Chanoine Frères and one of the first women ever to hold that position in a champagne house, is the creator of the Réserve Privée cuvées. She introduces each champagne in the short videos linked to below.
Chanoine Frères Réserve Privée Brut
This champagne of character reveals a rich, structured, fruit-forward palate.
Réserve Privée Brut was awarded distinctions by the 2020 Hachette Wine Guide.
Serve it at between 8°and 10°C. For an appetizer among friends, serve it with some gougères (cheese puffs) and shaved dry country ham.
Chanoine Frères Réserve Privée Brut Rosé
This rosé champagne of character gets its temperament from the Pinot Noir grapes that make up 85% of its blend. Of these Pinots Noirs, produced mainly in Les Riceys, 10% are vinified as red wine, which is what gives this subtle champagne, praised by the 2019 Hachette Wine Guide, its ruby-rose tint.
Réserve Privée Rosé should be served ideally at between 8°and 10°C. Try it with sushi and spring rolls for an improvised dinner with your best friends.
Chanoine Frères Réserve Privée Brut Millésime 2014
The 2014 vintage Réserve Privée champagne, aged five years in the House's cellars in Reims, is a delicate and vivacious champagne of character in a festive spirit. The long maturing gives it a fine balance between freshness and fullness.
Fresh and expressive, with a long, harmonious finish, this champagne is the partner of choice to accompany a meal among food-loving friends. It's best served not too cold — between 10° and 12° C.
