Réserve Privée Brut: Success
For the second consecutive year, Réserve Privée Brut has been awarded a star in the 2023 Hachette Wine Guide, meaning that the wine is judged “very successful.” It had already received a star in the 2022 Hachette Guide.
Réserve Privée Brut has also won a Gold Medal in the Gilbert & Gaillard International Challenge.
A champagne with roots, created by Isabelle Tellier
Réserve Privée Brut is a finely delineated cuvée created by Chef de Cave Isabelle Tellier, who has been blending the champagnes of the House of Chanoine Frères 1730 since 2002.
In this video (1’09” - English subtitles), Isabelle presents “her” Réserve Privée, “a family of champagnes rooted in the terroir and full of character.”
Of the Brut, she explains: “— Réserve Privée Brut has body because it is given structure by Pinots Noirs from the Côte des Bar — in particular the village of Les Riceys, in the south, in the sunniest part of the appellation zone. These grapes give temperament, a rich palate and fruit notes.”
Chanoine Frères Réserve Privée Brut should be enjoyed ideally at between 8° and 10°C.
