Tsarine is continuing its international development with a successful move into Australia. Tsarine launched its Brut Premium and Brut Rosé cuvées on the new continent in October.
The launch took place at the optimum time — just before the Melbourne Cup, the year's premier Thoroughbred horse race. The Cup is an important sporting event in Australia held in early November, and marks the start of the champagne season — at its height for the following two months, through the Christmas and New Year holidays.
The champagne season extends over the austral summer, with weddings and reunions among families and friends and the champagne picnics Australians are especially fond of.
The Australian champagne market is always dynamic. It ranks eighth worldwide, and despite the pandemic, growth of French exports there attained 14% in 2020.
The Tsarine brand, with its unique fluted bottle and “Inspire Me” advertising campaign, has been well received, noticed, and commented on on the social networks.
Tsarine Brut Premium, a fresh and elegant champagne with flavors of citrus, white peach and currant and Tsarine Rosé Brut, a rosé champagne with magnificent red-fruit flavors and remarkable freshness, have clearly won the hearts of new devotees "Down Under."
