Reims, June 2022
As summer begins, take time to get to know Aude and Julien, whose portraits have just been added to the Our People gallery, and continue learning all about the many jobs and talents that contribute to making Chanoine Frères 1730 champagnes.
Aude and Julien work in the vat-room alongside Isabelle, our Chef de Cave. With Nicolas, they participate in all stages of the winemaking process, from reception of the grape harvest through bottling and including fermentation, blending, filtering and bottling the champagnes for the final stage of ageing.
All Our People are Artisans of Quality, and listening to them and watching them, it becomes clear why each one’s work is so important to Chanoine Frères.
Aude and Julien were caught by the camera as they went about their work in the vat-room on the Allée du Vignoble in Reims, in the House's cellars. The Our People portrait gallery can be viewed on the site under the heading “Spirit”.
