Reims, June 2021
The Seventh ELLE à Table wine competition has awarded gold medals to Tsarine’s Rosé and Orium cuvées.
This year, experts (sommeliers, wine dealers, oenologists) and knowledgeable amateurs met in Lyon at the end of May to evaluate more than 1,600 wines from France and around the world. The tasting was done blind by at least three persons for each wine. Gender parity is the rule in this competition; jury members are evenly balanced between men and women.
The third gold medal for Tsarine Orium in 2021!
Tsarine Orium – the extra-brut champagne created by Isabelle Tellier, Chef de Cave of the House of Chanoine Frères – won three gold medals in the spring of 2021.
Before the ELLE à Table competition, Tsarine Orium had already received a gold medal in the worldwide Feminalise 2021 wine event, with a score of 16/20 (lien). And before that it had been awarded a gold in the Gilbert & Gaillard International Challenge 2021 with a score of 89/100

A beautiful 2021 for Tsarine Rosé
2021 is also proving to be a beautiful year for Tsarine Rosé champagne. This new gold medal in the ELLE à Table competition is added to the one garnered at the worldwide Berlin Wine Trophy.
Very recently, Tsarine Rosé Brut was given a score of 84/100 at the Gilbert & Gaillard International Challenge 2021 with a silver medal.
And you’ll recall that the 2021 edition of the Hachette Wine Guide awarded a new star — meaning “a good wine” — to Tsarine Rosé.
