Reims, July 2022
The first session of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles devoted specifically to sparkling wines awarded a gold medal to Tsarine By Adriana.
The competition was held between 1 and 3 July in Portugal, at Anadia, in the Bairrada Wine Museum. Some 1,000 sparkling wines from 23 countries around the world were blind-tested by a jury of tasters of 36 different nationalities. The Concours Mondial de Bruxelles is a benchmark among international wine competitions, recognized by wine professionals and consumers worldwide.
A champagne in Adriana Karembeu’s image
The prestige cuvée named for Adriana Karembeu, ambassadress of the Tsarine brand, is dressed all in gold.
Launched in France in 2015, Tsarine By Adriana made its first conquest in the UK, where it was served exclusively in the Crazy Bear chain of boutique hotels. It went on to meet with rapid success in the USA, where its unique bottle, precious and feminine, won hordes of fans as a prestige champagne, especially in Hype bars and lounges and at major occasions in California and in Florida.
Stéphanie Courzadet, Head of Marketing, says: “The exterior surface of the glass of the Tsarine By Adriana bottle is gilded using a process that results in a remarkable and lasting brilliance. The bottle attracts the light, and attracts the eye even more.
This is a champagne bottle that becomes an object of desire, that people adore giving, and that adds luster to holiday celebrations and parties. For me, the harmony between the white of the label and the gold of the bottle itself also symbolizes the exquisite balance of the champagne it contains.”
This year, the all-new gift box for Tsarine By Adriana champagne introduces yet another innovation with its working zipper with medallion signed by Adriana — a nod to the luscious shape of the fluted bottle within.
Tsarine By Adriana as told by Isabelle Tellier, Chef de Cave
According to Isabelle Tellier, creator of the cuvée, “Tsarine By Adriana is a champagne blended in keeping with the Tsarine style, with perfect balance among the three Champagne grape varieties — 34% Chardonnay, 33% Meunier, 33% Pinot Noir.
I’ve chosen to let it age in our cellars between three and four years to give it maturity. Its sugar dosage of 12 g/l gives it unctuousness, on the borderline between brut and extra-dry, which brings out its fruity notes. To the nose, it reveals flavors of peach and orange flower; on the palate it exudes notes of fruit jellies and ginger.
Tsarine by Adriana is a flavorful champagne that can be served before dinner and to accompany desserts. Personally I like to enjoy it with a roast pineapple flavored with vanilla. I advise serving it at between 10°and 12°C.”
