Gold for Tsarine Blanc de Blancs at the Feminalise World Wine Competition 2022

Reims, April 2022

Tsarine Blanc de Blancs champagne won a gold medal at the Feminalise World Wine Competition 2022.

The 16th edition of the worldwide competition was held in early April at the Parc Floral in Paris. Feminalise is an original competition set apart by the fact that its jury is made up exclusively of women, all of them wine specialists — including oenologists and professionals in the viticultural fields.

Each wine is blind-tasted by three women members of the jury, and a total of more than 700 tasters from all over France evaluated more than 5,000 wines from all over the world.

To put the icing on the cake, Tsarine Blanc de Blancs was also awarded a “Jury's Favourite” prize following a second tasting.

This Gold Medal at Feminalise 2022 is a supremely appropriate award because Tsarine Blanc de Blancs is the creation of Isabelle Tellier, Chef de Cave of Chanoine Frères since 2001 and one of the first women ever to have held that post in a champagne house.

Tsarine Blanc de Blancs collects gold medals

With Feminalise 2022, Tsarine Blanc de Blancs has won its third gold medal this year, after the Berlin Wine Trophy and the Mundus Vini Wine Awards.

The triple golds confirm the success of the cuvée, launched in 2021. Isabelle Tellier has developed a refined champagne composed of Chardonnay grands crus from the famous Côte des Blancs. The organoleptic qualities of Tsarine Blanc de Blancs are preserved by the elegant opaque-black eco-designed bottle.
