Fine weather and summer temperatures are still with us — a real “Indian summer,” an expression that dates back to the 18th century, when part of North America was called “New France.”
This year’s Indian summer takes on the colors of Chanoine Héritage 1730 Cuvée Rosé.
The last fine days of a mild autumn are ideal for enjoying this elegant champagne. This rosé champagne with a color like the rose Pompadour found on delicate Sèvres china reveals a nose that is just as delicate and a frank palate dominated by flavors of wild berries and cherries.
Chanoine Héritage Cuvée Rosé is a delicious champagne with a velvety texture. It's the perfect accompaniment to a tartine of fresh goat cheese and salmon rillettes as a starter or a tuna steak or lamb tajine with dried fruits.
For dessert, make the most of the red fruits still available at this time of year with a simple red-fruit salad or a delicious strawberry tart.
Chanoine Héritage Rosé should be served at between 8 and 10°C.
